Installing the Clutch

Big Tony came round again tonight…… we thought it was time to tackle the clutch., so we watched the DVD which comes with the kit for 15 minutes and then started to strip down the clutch, removing the plates, so we could bolt the housing on.

The DVD gets a bit confusing on anything to do with the drive as the bike they build in the DVD is a big (Godfather) Chopper…. So quite a few things are different on our bike.

Fitting the clutch plates

Clutch is torqued to 60Ft Ibs..... Crank to 100Ft Ibs... use plenty of red loctight

Torquing down the crank pulley.... used a wooden wedge to stop the pistons turning!

Might powder coat the discs white... not sure.... any comments!!
